I guess you could say that due to the boomerang’s effectiveness this was a quick video.

Being able to steamroll Metal Man with QB is by design.
He jumps and counters when you press down the attack buton, so his weakness was chosen to be QB because you can fire it by holding the attack down.

Mega Man 3 with only the top spin would be interesting.

My personal favorite weapon whenever I do a No Metal Blade playthrough, loving these single weapon challenges!

the only enemy i know that is immune to it are the eggs when they are falling. Everything else i think takes damage.

I really appreciated the commentary on Flash Man's stage.

3:28 Fun Fact: Even though you cannot kill quick man with the quick boomerang in the base game. You can stun him for a quick moment (pun intended), doing so will make him stay before getting back into action. This is only possible to do in the boss rush.

I used to really like this weapon in the game, found many uses with it's arc and rapid fire

This is how Quick Boomerang should be. Damages everything in the whole game, while the original Quick Boomerang dosen’t

5:50 nice pause glitch vs woodman

I have been watching your video's as of recent since YouTube just decided to recommend me your "Metal Blade Only" challenge. I gotta say, I find these pretty interesting, and I actually like that you explain the technical side to your playthroughs on what does, doesn't, or usually go on through a normal RockMan 2 playthrough, and what you changed to make it technically possible. This is some genuinely good stuff. Never change, please.

I genuinely didn't know Flashman was IMMUNE to Quick Boomerang! Megamix and Archie would make ya think otherwise!

Megaman 3 Challenge: Search Snake and Hard Knuckle!
Rules and stipulations:
NO RAPID FIRE! If I wanted to see rapidfire, I would've asked for Needle Cannon!
NO firing at pointblank range! If you're firing a weapon that doesn't even show up on the screen then you may as well fire any weapon ya want.
The Search Snakes MUST be onscreen for at least 1 complete second, Hard Knuckle for 2.
NO GLITCHES! (This means no speedrun techniques!)
Pacifist run while ya can to save ammo! (See if ya can do it WITHOUT unlimited ammo!)
Rush Coil allowed, Rush Jet only allowed for a section of Shadowman and Needleman's Doc Robot stages.
Other helpful notes!
Search Snake has an exploit in MM3 where you get unlimited ammo if you switch weapons between shots
Hard Knuckle was included because all the bosses immune to Search Snake at least take damage from Hard Knuckle. Also, UNLIKE MM2, you won't need to worry about a situation like the Boobeam Trap for MM3

i hope time stopper video is next🤪

Still bizarre that Quickman's stage is the one that gets the Hothead/Changkey Maker enemy rather than HEAT MAN, and also gets the dark/light mechanic room rather than FLASH MAN.

Anyway, you mentioned that Mega Man doesn't become the same shades of green as Snake and Centaur Man when using their weapons? Well, Bomb Man isn't green at all but his weapon turns Mega Man green, Wood Man's weapon doesn't turn you brown with green, and Quick Man is very much not lemonade/bubblegum pink.

Crash Man is my absolute favorite stage out of all the Mega Man stages. The vertical orientation puts the player at a disadvantage in many situations as Mega Man only fires horizontally (with the buster) making the stage itself an accomplishment. Crash Man is a fun challenge too, with the Bombs getting shot, sitting there, and then exploding, being able to damage you the whole time. Later Mega Man Robot Masters have more complex patters and behaviors, but vertical stages are never really a thing aside from Crash Man Stage.

7:21 LOL i have these same moments when i try anything cool
Also I hope Mega Man 3 Needle Cannon only is next

cool guy you are, also air keeps up the status of the ultimate robot master

Mega man 2 with only flash stopper would be interesting

You know what I'm gonna say.
