The plot begins in the imposing mansion of the Sipahi family, where young Gülru (Damla Sönmez), daughter of the gardener Salih (Atilla Şendil), lives divided between her humble reality and her obsessive admiration for her boss, the sophisticated stylist Gülfem (Canan Ergüder). After the death of the patriarch Enver, Gülfem returns to Turkey to take over the business and the guardianship of her brother, Cihan (Sercan Badur), an emotionally unstable young man who finds his only refuge in Gülru. Gülru's fate changes when she crosses paths with the doctor Ömer (Barış Kılıç), Gülfem's former love, who helps her after an accident and awakens a new interest in her, while she deals with the possessive jealousy of her fiancé, Mert (Yiğit Kirazcı). Life in the mansion becomes hostile when Gülfem, bothered by the proximity of the gardener's family, orders everyone's dismissal. The situation worsens after Gülru is unjustly accused by the housekeeper Halide (Aslı İçözü) of stealing a diamond necklace—a jewel that had actually been taken by Cihan. Faced with her brother's nervous breakdown, who cannot accept his friend's departure, Gülfem backs down from the dismissal and offers Gülru the position of her personal assistant. However, what seemed like a dream come true becomes a nightmare of humiliations, with Gülru being treated servilely and coldly by her idol. Meanwhile, Gülru's personal life crumbles when Mert's aggressive behavior reaches its breaking point during her graduation party, leading to the end of their relationship. The tense atmosphere at the Sipahi estate reaches its peak in the fifth chapter: feeling rejected and in the midst of a vengeful rage against her sister, Cihan spreads gasoline and sets fire to the mansion during a social event. The traumatic fire leaves Gülru and Cihan in critical condition, rescued from the flames by Ömer and Salih, culminating in a dramatic hospital sequence that will forever change the fate of everyone involved.
