Spine & Dust is finished.
In this final flip-through, we’re taking a slow walk through all five signatures and 188 pages of this long-silent library journal—from the recessed cover filled with real miniature books to the pockets, tucked-away pieces, old book spines, stitched details, worn papers and quiet spaces inside.
Spine & Dust was created as a guest design team project for The Old Design Shop (@theolddesignshop1608) using several of her beautiful vintage-inspired digital collections throughout her pages. You’ll find links to the kits I used, along with The Old Design Shop links, below.
Spine & Dust is a quiet beauty, filled with the stories of her surroundings. She grew from the idea of a long-silent library—a place where rows of old books still hold their stories even as the dust settles around them. Her pages carry traces of those stories: old books and forgotten papers, library cards, worn fragments, stitching and pieces that feel as though they might have been gathered from the shelves themselves.
Thank you for following along as I created Spine & Dust. I hope you enjoy seeing her all together at last.
