The mistake every beginner makes is letting the music folder turn into a mess. I built Music Library Tools so it never gets to that point. Free to try: https://links.musiclibrarytools.co.uk/1lb02Ufl

I'm buying a dj controller this weekend just because I was this video and I actually wanna learn. I'm 45 yall. Never to late I guess

Please continue the series. Its probably the most detailed tutorial on YouTube. I would aslo like to see how you transition into different Genres and BPM

I have been a Dj for 2 decades, firstly as a hobby and then later as a professional. Nothing bad in learning, but this was the simplest way of learning for beginners. Well done bro.

This is probably one of the best tutorials on YouTube at an easy to understand pace. Appreciate you man!

Only a Pro can deliver this 101 lesson on Dj basics. Excellent!

Every begginer video i have seen  does NOT explain it for beginers . I am very tech proficient and still struggled learning. This was the foundational lesson that I needed to learn ontop of. continue the series!

I am an ABSOLUTE dummy. I didn’t know the USB from the controller connected into the laptop and was desperately looking for the “other cord” 🙈 Thank God you’re explaining it to a “3 year old” 😅🤣

This was sooooooooo helpful without the super complicated dj jargon. Restored excitement!! 😂🎉

This is INSANE! This is a masterclass. Awesome teacher!

You killed this. I am just learning how to Dj and I think you given me the headstart I need. Please continue dropping more contents...

This guy is magnificent in his basic teaching of beginner djing excellent job!!

These videos are gold. Thank you. That cracked me up, speedy up, slowy down. that'll make me remember!

By far, the simplest, easy-to-understand, well-explained and in-depth basic DJing tutorial I've ever watched here on YouTube. Thanks very much and keep this going.✌🏼

Dj cee b, i must say this is the best tutorial for beginner Dj on youtube. You explained it basically in layman's term. Max respect for the time you put into this. Am not a beginner but wish i had this kind of video when i started.

Why tf can’t people make it this simple? 😩😩😩😩 Now I feel like I can do it

Ngl man this might be the single handed most straight forward video for aspiring Djs. Bravo, thank you very much.

I'm just seeing this tutorial and you've made me want to go out and purchase a dj controller now that I'm in my 60's and retired.😅 and I don't mind being a bedroom or garage dj or for our own gatherings. Your 3 yr older is in good hands! Great dad, and a great teacher. Keep utubn! 1luv!! I'll let you know how I make out. Oh and if you want to let go of some of your equipment...

Just watching this in 2026 !!!!! 👏

Just stumbled across your channel, I’m a general manager of a bar in Scarborough, managed to get a set of Pioneer CDJ 900’s. Looking at saving some cash on a DJ for a few events and absolutely loved this tutorial, I’ve downloaded Serato and Tidal to get me started.
