There is something really healing about getting a view into your creative hangs with your friends. My friends and I used to all have a big art night once or twice a month, but life made us all too busy or too far so they're not as common. feels good. Your tile is looking beautiful, and your friend is awesome for giving you a space to work on them and being so helpful. <3

OMG this is the definition of "Fine, I'll do it myself". Love it!!

My dad made a ceramic backsplash for our stove when I was a kid—sumac branches and red sumac berries. I must have been inspired because ten years later in a ceramics class I made a set of six tiles depicting the life cycle of a sturgeon for my parents bathroom remodel. Tiles are such a classic and useful implementation of ceramics. And yours looks beautiful! Inspiring me to get back into tile making…

You and your family are so artistic, your space will be beautiful!

I just have to leave a comment and thank you for the journey you're taking us all on with you! I find myself mesmerized by your warmth and curiosity and skill, it is just wonderful to watch. I have some experience with ceramics (porcelain) since my time in design school and there is a small kiln in my atelier-apartment-combo, but while I have all kinds of plans for my soon to be / new to me / 125 years old to the world apartment, I did not have custom tiles on my menu (yet!). I'll add them to the list of custom ceramic window knobs and bathroom mosaics and just fool myself into believing I'll have time for it all, sometime :)) Thank you for the video and channel, it's wonderful what you do.

wtf man that was so good like genuinely impressive

I think it’s so cool when people put so much love and customization into their homes. It’s a lost art these days to see handmade or specially crafted pieces as part of a home. Your tiles will add so much character and beauty! Thank you for sharing your journey & comforting channel :)

I used to work at Mercury Mosaics-- we make handmade tiles! I'm sure they'd be willing to sell you bisqued tile blanks if you were looking to just glaze your own designs as well.

Your whole family seems to be very creative. And such luck that you have Austin’s help and his studio and tools! 👏👏👏❤️

I love your videos <3. You've quickly become my favourite YouTuber to watch to simply feel good (your personality shines so bright and your relationship with the community around you is megaultraheartwarming) and, as a bonus, to get inspired when it comes to my home (I say this as someone with orange walls everywhere!). Thanks so much for deciding to share with us.

I love seeing the tile process. These tiles are going to be gorgeous!! Good luck.

Bless knowledgeable and helpful supply store employees! 🙌

I recently discovered your channel via the great YT Algo gods and am grateful. I love your style and your tile design is stunning. I can't wait to see the final results.

This is beautiful! Specially the gentle friends… oh, I love it! With love from Brazil, Daisy! 💛🌼

This is amazing!!!

This is such a cool idea! I hope that someday I'll have my own place and be able to make a similar nod to my culture embedded in its tiles. Thank you so much for the inspiration!

The tiles look great! Your camellia and the vines around it are so pretty! I personally preferred the orange but I’m sure the green will look great too.

this is my favorite channel now

Incredible! So happy I came across you, can't wait to see the rest of this.

Watched this video and the "why tiles suck" video and now im subscribed.
