Mariah also used those quick upper belt dips a lot in Einstein era (e.g., E5s in TMB ending, F5s in CBPCH)

Zara is the soprano Beyoncé 😭

Leona is really one of the best vocalists of the 21st Century in mainstream music. It’s sad what being very overworked plus having an autoimmune condition did to her voice. Glad she kept her integrity and didn’t sell her soul for fame and fortune.

1:26 she literally sounds like Mariah here

3:49 And the smile after, she knew she slayed that 😍

I really like this concept!!

The glissandos of Patti was amazing and repeat it for Mariah, Christina, Whitney and Celine.

Beyonce ( she is the Growls's queen) nobody do the growls so conected, healthy and across her vocal range like her, waooo i didn’t see before Zara with the growls, not bad, far away to Beyonce but without compare really good too and good used them and good moments in the song.

I love when Leona is included in vocal videos

2:43 The mic distance control tho!

We definitely need a part 2 of this!!! Great video

Yes, xtina is here and her oversinging has to be muted

4:23 took me out😂😂😂come on naaw

I was waiting for zara Larsson

2:58 I wouldn’t say so, I don’t think vocal agility is nearly as much of a hallmark for Demi as it is for Christina

I’d say Leona uses more of a build up/glissando than the vocal breaks Mariah uses

LMAOOOO I love thisss

3:20 and she was literally singing WITH HER on the track 😂

More like this

coming from tik tok, i already know the mariah / leona analogy 🤭

except no one has been able to emulate daydreamriah’s style of belting

mariah has been doing the dips since the early 2000s. it’s a cheatcode for her lol

1:54 where is the cryy

2:49 okk stamina 😮

nathalie grunt 🤣

grandpatti did that

5:06 i will never understand why she did that D5 with high larynx, sounded tight
