Remeber, most of these fashions were invented by poor people trying to look good with what they could find a lot of for cheap. Making your own stuff or thrifting it is cool af, and a lot truer to the spirit of it than spending $100 on a pair of jeans. If you really want to, go off, but you don't have to. That, and stuff like emo, punk, etc are based on music genres. If you listen to that stuff, no matter how you dress, then congrats, you're a part of that sub-culture!

I'm watching these kind of videos to get better at drawing different types of outfits and accessories. It's really helpful, thank you!

Omgjdhfjjwhsdn why is there no reveal for the “ruining a shirt” one xD whenever there’s more than one part to a tiktok I only ever see the first part! Lol it’s ok tho

For people who want to make patches, I suggest first doing the design in white bv it shows better in one layer

@scooterjuice2046 5 years ago

Thank you so so so much. As a baby punk I was really clueless on where I should start and what I can do with my clothes because I'm really bad with sewing and stuff that I need to make diy punk clothes but watching these has actually helped a lot and I've got a lot of new punkified clothes because of it. I'd love if you did more alt ones! Thank you again. This community makes me feel so valid and I finally feel comfortable with my style which was a journey for me as a trans guy.

I'm not part of any edgy/alternative subcultures, by I do find these quite interesting.

Hey I'm mainly clowncore and my parents hate my fashion but DO I CARE

For making DIY patches, you can use puff paint or fabric paint to make them stay, acrylic paint won't stay in clothes when you wash them

Quick PSA, upsidedown crosses are still a Christian symbol because Saint Peter was crucified upsidedown because he felt he wasn't worthy of being crucified the same way as Jesus
