Minor gripe, robots don’t spawn when you grab christines COS silencer rifle. Its lobotomites that spawn

The fact that these videos are still so very relevant today is a testament to how good of a game New Vegas was. And it’s funny because new Vegas is a buggy mess of a game, yet still one of the best games ever made. Just goes to show how important an emphasis on FUN and player-control is.

The entire compilation?? ABSOLUTE CINEMA 🎥 👐

8:15 12.7mm is actually the metric conversion for half an inch which is what 50 caliber is so making it require the same strength, especially for one-handed pistol definitely makes sense and is a cool touch

This makes it so much more convenient than going back and forth between videos.

Pro tip i just learned after coming back to this game the la longue carbine just wait till night till all ncr are in bed talk to him and run to a far corner of camp he WILL walk toward u i spent an hr tryna follow him with low sneak just to do that by mistake

The holorifle should be a little higher on difficulty to get... Completing the sierra madre is a challenge worse and more painful than Vault 34.

How can a weapon you have to complete a 10 hour dlc for be 1/5 to get yet a gun you can get within an hour of starting the game be 2 and 3/5.

You can pickpocket Benny immediately after speaking to him to get Maria. Just might require a few quickloads lol.

NCR hit squads can send Elite Rangers which have a chance of carrying the Sequoia as well as Elite Rangers posted to stations can carry it when they begin to appear. You can also snatch it from Hanlon by pickpocketing his ammo.

The ratslayer is good for end-game as well. It can pick off most legion troops with a headshot, without them ever noticing you.

Love the Ratslayer. One of the best early guns you can find every time I start a new save.

"Maria" should have a better Crit Chance for head shots :) Love you're work 😁😁

Idk if you have yet but I really want to see a 100% playthrough. Do as many quests as you can for each faction before finally picking a side.

16:35 - actually, you need Rex with you to spawn the well. The well doesn't appear automatically if you enable Wild Wasteland. You need to travel with Rex until he randomly gets the unique dialogue that lets you know you need to go to the well. So I'd give the Abilene Kid BB gun a 5/5 in difficulty if you have Wild Wasteland enabled.

00:21:27 Take Veronica along with your ranged companion of choice, give Veronica a good glove weapon, and you're golden. It's one of the rare areas that I sometimes pass on taking ED-E into because he seems to get hung up in there constantly and doesn't attack as often as he should.

Good way to get a handful of these is to wait for the NPC to sleep, initiate conversation so they follow you, find a vehicle and blow it up. No karma or rep loss. I do this for the la longue carbine often.
