While this may be a loose style, your precision in placement of each brushstroke comes from your years of experience and artist’s eye. I’m watching thinking “Surely he’s done now…..wait, surely now…oh that looks better…how did he know to do that?!” I love your demos. They’re a meditative experience watching creation take shape. Thank you!

Hi Paul. Peter from Noosa Australia. Great demo. There is nothing like the feeling of loose watercolour, that is once you get used to it. You are soo right in your tips.
By the way, just found you so I guess I have some catching up to do.
P.S. Paul I hope that some may read this comment, because I am going to tell all that not many artists on utube give of their knowledge and love of giving so generously. You sir are one. More power to you and keep up the good work.

All of your paintings are stunning whether they be loose, abstract or detailed. The humour you always put in each tutorial makes them fun to see every Wednesday. Thank you for this lovely loose painting and for the marvellous techniques on how to paint a loose painting. Thanks also for showing us some paintings of this artist who lived ago.

I absolutely love this loose painting style!  Thank you for introducing the artist and doing this painting

It never fails to amaze me to see what you are able to do with a few brushstrokes, Paul. Really inspiring.  Never heard of this painter before, but trying this is a definite. Thank you!

❤❤❤Thank-you  Paul!!

Love your inspiration series, and how you recreate the same vibe in your own style! The masters you try to emulate will be proud. Thanks for all the loose painting tips!

Watching you make each little mark is like watching a master create perfection. I don’t know if that can be taught. It’s probably some Devine inspiration. This was so beautiful and inspiring. Your videos are the best part of Wednesday! (Well after God of course. 🥰🙏🏻) I’m very grateful that God put a desire in you to paint and to share it with others. Your tips are very helpful and the most important of all is to have fun. You make painting a joyful experience. Thank you! 😊❤🎨🖼🖌

Love your loose style! Please do more! ❤

Perfectly captured. Thanks again
Andy

Thank you very much! As always, a marvelous painting

Thank you for this tutorial Paul. I remember watching my Dad paint watercolour landscapes on holidays when I was little. I was always impressed at how he could make abstract shapes look like trees or hills or whatever. I think he may have been inspired by Wesson. My watercolour is a very different style, I rarely paint landscapes, but its always fun to practice a different technique. Thank you for so clearly taking us through the steps. :)

Fabulous , thanks Paul❤

It is really helpful to have the finished painting appear as the video progresses. I then know where you are going  and I get the "AHA" moments when I understand how you got there!

Beautiful Paul!  Love your lessons - love your paintings!  Thanks! 💕

Thank you Paul. I love it when you introduce the works of other artists. I look forward to trying this one!😊

I always learn so much from you, and really appreciate your generosity in sharing these quality videos.

Love this loose style I find it hard to stop fiddling though.  Thank you for the tips.

Paul, I love your tutorials! All of your paintings are gorgeous! Diane Antone Studio gave you a nice shout out the other day and I was pleased with that. I love her channel and I love when artists take the time to mention other artists that have inspired them. Your videos are always something I look forward to. Education and humor. How can life get any better. Thank you Paul!

That was one of the most relaxing painting videos I have watched in a long time!!  The looseness and description and the painting itself! You definitely conjured loose and relaxed!
