薬膳師さんが、もち米には縮尿効果があるから（ただし頻尿体質の改善の効果で、通常の頻度の尿意を長時間抑えるものではない）とXに書いてらした。
だから餅や大福でも良いわけで、ボンタンアメは手軽に買えて持ち運びできるから流行ってるらしい。当地では買えないので夜間頻尿の高齢の家族に大福を食べさせてみる。
ボンタンアメに限らずご当地と今言われているもの結構前から県内で良く見かけるもの多いイメージ。
