They very literally do not know what they are doing. They vote uk into the top 25 themselves and then dropped them out after a win. They make themselves look absolutely brainless

Were used to as Kentucky fans. We’ve seen half the 4 star recruits who have committed to Kentucky get dropped to 3 stars. The rivals/on3/247 fraudsters do it every time. Jake Nawrot was a 5* #2 overall QB in the class when he committed now he’s a 4 star, 5-6th best QB in the pro style category. The voters and the recruiting analyst have bias towards the old money CFB programs. It’s just the way it is. The only thing you can do is continue winning till they have to rank you accurately

IMPECCABLE TIMING!

Coach Stein couldn’t have asked for a better additional motivator at the most opportune time!

RESPECT IS EARNED, by winning. RANKINGS at this stage are for pundits and fan-bragging-rights!

We care about WINNING! Still tracking (9-3) with (10-2) lurking in the WINdow!

They tried so hard to show they don't have SEC bias that they became biased the other way.

I don’t care myself.  Just win.  🏆

Before the game Stein said something to the affect of “i dont know why they do rankings so early in the season” and “the ranking really doesn’t matter” he is being punished 😂

Felt like we got snubbed from the top 25 after beating A&M to begin with. Now they kick us out after being ranked and beating the team they said would beat us?

It just makes zero sense. Lol.

Stein will use this as bulletin board material to max effect to fire the team up.

Wouldnt surprise me if ESPN not wanting college gameday in lex for the game had something to do with it

I love how much Mississippi State lost to Alabama 56 to 23 on Saturday went down one spot then we beat South Carolina and we get knocked out out of the top 25 after being number 24 that’s stupid

UK gets zero respect as a football program because of their history in football regardless of how good or bad the football team is this season.

Doesn’t really surprise me theirs a lot of Kentucky haters out there that never give us credit for anything very political system follow the money and the big name schools and you’ll find the culprit

They didn't want 9 SEC schools in the top 25.
If Miz loses to florida instead of crushing them, They drop out, And we probaly go to 22-23.

I'm hearing from a source It was done because they need a unranked team to beat LSU next Saturday so they can bury Lane Kiffin.....

You think the real reason they held Ky out is because the AP is stupid!?!?!?
That is beyond dumb...
I here it's so LSU gets no credit for beating an unranked team or better yet a loss to an unranked team will potentially keep LSU out of the playoffs

2026: #24 Kentucky over South Carolina 35-34 in OT, fell out of the Top 25.

2012: #24 Boise State over New Mexico 32-29, fell out of the Top 25.

2002: #25 Tennessee over South Carolina 18-10, fell out of the Top 25.

They were ranked, they won, they still fell out of the Top 25.

The bright side is the entire country is talking about Will Stein .  He’s the most talked about coach in the country. and I have no doubt Kentucky won the coaching lottery.   it doesn’t hurt that Stein wants to be there.  this is his dream job AND offensive oriented.  I truly think they’re going to be competing for an SEC championship within three years.  If they can have a good showing for the rest of the year, who isn’t going to want to play for him.

I mean LSU is ranked 7th in the SEC. 10th in the AP. So are giving SEc biased or not?  And Kentucky would beat the brakes off SMU.

These AP people are chicken to post their votes. There are a few who do but the ones who don’t are voting horribly

My biggest issue is with UCLA.  They didn't play and moved up 2 spots.  They are 4-0 and all 4 wins are against teams with losing records.  Only 1 of ours is a win over a team with a losing record.  So if anything, they should have dropped UCLA out of the rankings.  Instead, they moved them up 2 spots.

Now since we dropped out of the poll, we can't get back in with a close loss to top 10 LSU.  We could lose on a last second field goal and we won't get ranked again.  They'll just punish LSU for a close game.  If we do win, now we have to hurdle other ranked teams to get back in and likely won't get the big jump others had when they first got ranked with a big win.

I believe Oklahoma State jumped in at 19 and Michigan did as well.  Florida jumped in at 21.  So we should at minimum be around 20.  That will only happen if a bunch of the bottom of the rankings all lose.  I could see us barely getting back in but LSU dropping waaaaaay down.  If we at least stayed at 24 before this, I feel like it would have forced them to put us into the teens with a win this Saturday.

First things first, let's win Saturday and put the pressure on the voters to properly rank us.
