Remember when we actually used to have journalists

Its wild how they secretly let Barry make all that money for them but didnt want him making money for him

Journalists would never do this nowadays against the federal government

A lot of men die having never felt alive. At least Barry lived life and had more good time’s than bad ones.

Back when journalists/reporters hunted down the truth no matter the cost.

5000 documents about Barry Seal disappeared from the Arkansas State archives.

"I am not a drug smuggler and I am an aviation consultant " 😂😂😂😂

Barry Seals story is a classic case of when you lay down with dogs you are going to get fleas.

I was working the night he was killed. I was a room service waiter at Airport Hilton in Kenner, LA. Escobars hit men were staying in a room for several days before killing and ordered room service several times always tipping me 100 bill.  They drove back to the hotel after the killing and FBI, DEA, ATF, and local police were all over the place looking for them. Crazy times

The judge knew he would be dead if he sent him to that housing program. Everybody new it.

Barry waited 25 minutes for me to get off work I hurried to PBIA they were sitting in a Merlin 3 with one engine running I ran up the stairs Barry put his hand out said hi I’m Barry Seal shut the door we got to go as he started the other engine we flew up to New Smyna to look at the 123 he was an amazing pilot very nice to me was sad when I heard about him on the way back over Melbourne fuel gauges showed empty he said usually I would go for it but I like you guys so we landed and got some gas was a memorable flight !!! Plus fun climbing around the 123 with him 👍🏼👍🏼

Whoa! What a wonderful upload!
This is a MUST WATCH for anyone who knows about Seal or is interested in this case. Very informative and helpful video for my research purposes...
Thank you!! 🙏

I grew up in BR while this was going on. A surreal saga.

Journalism at its finest. Great work WRBZ 2

True Journalism!!!

Barry was a heck of a nice guy. But I had to laugh when he said over and over that he was not a drug smuggler. But just because he was a smuggler doesn't mean he wasn't a nice guy, because he was. And a good husband and good father. RIP Barry.

I remember in 5th grade his son, Dean Seal, showed up in my grade school class at St. George in Baton Rouge for just 1 semester in the Fall of 1985.  He was a quiet shy kid, didn't talk much, but he was a nice kid.  I remember my friend John Moran telling me Dean's dad was a drug dealer and was in trouble with some mobsters and that his dad would not let him go to Dean's house anymore because he was fearful that they would blow up his dad's car.  I remember thinking my friend John was exaggerating and making all this up. We were stupid kids at the time, realize later that what John was telling me was sort of true, but it wasn't mobsters, but the cartels.  Dean ended up leaving our class in the beginning of 1986 and never saw him again.  But he was a nice kid.  My friend John was very good friends with Dean during that time.

No mention of Mena Airport in Arkansas.

Literally the same time in BR as the Jody Plauche kidnapping

Oh boy governmental corruption who da fucking thunk??
