That statue is "St. George slaying the Dragon" and it is very beautiful.

Very interesting and enjoyable as usual Tom. I can't help notice the unrelenting noise. Is it too much to muse this end of the city is the noisiest?

I looked into it. I think it’s the Church of the Covenant. That incredibly delicate stained glass has been there for almost 100 years. It's still in perfect condition.

its not quite neo gothic but the style of this place certainly fits for tall buildings, its a shame that more developers didnt continue the look, the street level feels like walking around a castle courtyard.   why is this place built up on a plinth like that?
