A note about the two "color" films of Olympic in this video.

It's not authentic, since it's all lost media. However, it is not AI either. We strive at recreating Titanic and her sister ships' stories through computer animation. Sorry if there was any confusion!

But it does show how great Jack is at animating these ships!

The sister who had to stand alone and lived a long full life for the memory of her kindred. Long live the three sisters Olympic, Titanic, and Brittanic.

You know who would love this? My friend Mike Brady, from Oceanliner Designs.

The fact that we can see this footage in 2026 is just so amazing. Charles Urban had no ideia that in the next 120 years people would be eager to watch his work in something called "internet". And thank you for not using AI to enhance the footage.

God I wish we had that kinemacolor footage

I find it so sad that while Olympic enjoyed this illustrious career, titanic was sitting at the bottom of the ocean in ruin and (for the time) largely forgotten 💔

12:57 only one frame, and that one frame is peak. Everyone, I propose we all start digging in every archive we can. This film deserves to be immortalized in the internet

This was fantastic . What an exciting time in history when the magnificent RMS Olympic was launched and completed . This footage is priceless . Thank you so much to the entire team for all your hard work ❤️

She could’ve been a GREAT set for A Night to Remember and Titanic 1997 had she never been scrapped…

If only it existed still today

Scrapping the Olympic was a crime against history

Who knew Olympic was such a movie star!

Okay, that colour launch film fooled me.

this filled my eyes with tears...

Olympic is my favorite ship.

She is 100 percent the reason why I started following THG.

Beautiful Olympic, your story is one of the most fascinating I've ever heard and read. My infinite thanks for always including it on your channel.

3:24 It's like watching the Mona Lisa being painted... incredible we're still able to see this well over a century later

Olympic - history’s greatest ship 🫡

The only ship of the Olympic Class that was in New York

Thank you for all of this lovely vintage film footage and for Olympic's film career
