Many younger people are led to believe that streaming is an easy way to get paid for playing video games . In reality, the market is severely oversaturated . Reaching a financially sustainable audience requires immense luck, relentless consistency, and a tiny fraction of a percent of streamers ever make a livable income let’s stop glamorizing and being delusional and let’s start being REALISTIC ❤

You quit your job to stream, but then what if you end up hating streaming and it becomes a chore…….then what? 💀

8:33 The only streamers people know like that OUTSIDE of the streaming world is Kai and maybe Speed; and that’s only if you’ve seen them on the news or in certain parts of the internet like drama and commentary. These people need a reality check, not everyone is gonna be Kai (and you’re never gonna get anywhere trying to be someone else)

19:03 your crashouts be funny, but still realistic. Even with things you love to do will get to that point.

Yeah… people are overlooking how fast fans will turn on you for one mistake, being a sl*ve to your audience or constantly being taken out of context. Streamers go through a lot. Cyber bullying, stalking and online harassment are not for the faint of heart

They also assume you need millions of views to be successful😂😂

I just feel like they don’t respect how journey works. Like celebs streamers, YouTubers even Dee. Everybody had journeys.

They have to accept that it will take time, cause if they do it for survival mode, it won’t help you being consistent.

On one hand, I get it. The economy is messed up right now, regular jobs don’t really pay a livable wage, rarely anyone is hiring right now as it is, and customers tend to be entitled and incredibly rude,  and employees are exhausted, burnt out and fed up. On top of that, you see people around our age, making millions and millions of dollars being streamers and content creators, and it gets discouraging. Of course, quitting your job just for a spot at Streamer University that isn’t even guaranteed isn’t the best decision, but when you have people that are desperate in an economy that is incredibly broken, this is what you get. It’s incredibly hard out here, even for people in their 20s that don’t even have kids yet.

7:57 Thats is a bold statement because most streamers aren't mainstream. I'm not hating but the average person doesn't binge-watch streamers. I feel like it's mostly a younger crowd thing with a few older people

i don’t get the hype with becoming a streamer if i wanted do social media i  would do youtube over anything 🤨

You hit the nail on the head when you said if people not feeling your content they not feeling it. Also a lot of content is cookie cutter stuff, mean they are just doing what everyone else does. Like if you’re a game streamer but you streaming Fortnite like bruh there are thousands of people doing that. You need good content and you need to be talented as well to have people invested in your content. Step outside the box and do something different offer something new for the people to watch

No one should quit their jobs to become a streamer. If they want to do content creation then do it. Go to work/school, come home and make videos, edit those videos to the best of your ability and repeat. It’s not just consistency.. it’s effort and high quality.

Content creators go through tons of journeys but a lot of people don’t understand exactly what that is.

Simple reason why most people arent making it, they aren't as interesting as they think they are.

20:57 We need another dee clips compilation 😂

When did Social Media get to the point of people putting their hopes and dreams in other people's hands?   Isn't that what Hollywood is, and what Social Media suppose to be against?

I made a comment on the other video regarding this topic. I never understand quitting your day job, because you need to fund your hustle or goals that you are pursuing. I had a valid reason to quit my job , i was robbed at gun point. I just took the time off and focused on plans and goals to shift my career into what i want it to be. Like i just had to replace my computer, had i quit my job i couldnt do that. Im teaching myself how to sew, if i quit my job i couldnt do that. Again I look at people like Dee , Kai etc as inspiration , but im not running to srtreamer u, zeus , or nttv looking for an opportunity i can literally create on my own . Thats the problem they think streamer u is gonna magically make them a star. I dont even wanna be a streamer , i just grew up gaming with my sibilings and we dont speak anymore, so i love that community, Im an artist and thats really my avenue making art and stuff.. and i did stop streaming to figure out like how to incorporate my art into the streams. Look its not easy lol

19:15 CLOCK THAT MF TEA, DEEYANA.

I’m all for people following their dreams, but it seems like some people look at streamers and think, “Damn, they’re making millions and not even doing anything. If they can do it, so can I.”

Then they start streaming expecting people to magically show up, watch them, and subscribe. When it doesn’t happen the way they imagined, they either quit or burn out.

Quitting your job just to apply to Streamer University is stupid. I mean utterly insane. “I know I’m gonna get accepted, so I can go ahead and quit my job.” What kind of logic is that?

They’ll be the same people going online crying because they don’t have a job or trying to blame Kai. “I quit my job because I thought I was getting into SU, but Kai didn’t accept me. Now I have to find another job, but it’s okay, a player never loses for too long.” I can already hear it. Ew.

21:30 Speak on it!! It’s always a jumpscare when I don’t see videos from you because we’re spoiled lol😂 but I would never send fucking hate or complain. Those of us with sense know you need breaks, too

When i make it Dee, we're gonna meet and imma be like girl your videos kept me going .

I liked ya zoning out point.! At all my jobs I’ve done that very thing. Like yeah I’m friendly but I definitely have a switch. I’ve never put that thought to content creators. Yeah you’re beautiful and funny, but you really good at starting conversation with your opinions and that’s why I fwu Dee ❤
