One of the best movies ever made

F'n love this movie. Best movie ever.

At least the cat will be safe

"Any word about my daughter?"

Well, she was in a really awesome video game...

Your gnashing like an Alien when Burke got killed had me in stitches! 🤣

30:00 "And now somebody is going to be infected, right?"
No.
They need a little face hugger to actually hug a face to cause infection (embryo implantation).
They don't get infected just by shooting the aliens.

Carrie Henn's (Newt) performance  impresses me again every single time I watch this movie. Without any acting experience she delivers and her chemistry with Sigourney Weaver is perfect!👍 Zoey, I really loved your reaction to this classic!❤ By the way, not only Michael Biehn(Hicks) returned from Terminator or T2, but also Lance Henriksen (Bishop), Jenette Goldstein (Vasquez) and Bill Paxton ( Hudson) . By the way, the last 3 team up again in an almost forgotten and terribly underrated Vampire movie: Near Dark (1987)! 😎

Zoe, you are so lucky to have your specialty blanket. Just like Charlie Brown, so special.

It was so cute watching you use your Alien-proof protective blanket 😆

The aliens were ballet dancers, a choice made by Cameron, the ballet dancers were chosen to give the aliens the feeling of being more agile, the film won 2 Oscars for the special effects without CG, and for the excellent audio editing, I think there are no more than 10 horror films that have won an Oscar, thanks for this video

audio/video edit ad 3:05 is great lol. Oblivion, Annihilation, total recall, starship troopers, Elysium, Pandorum, chappie, distict 9, ex machina,  Coneheads, promethius. all great sci-fi.

The Aliens are such scary monsters, but Burke is sooooooo much creepier! 😱
@1:05:14 big stretch! ☺

1:05 I don't think I've ever seen someone be able to move their eyes independently like that before.  Neat.

It is the best movie for ever.

Aah, directors cut. Nice!!

You should see The Messengers, Cursed

You weren’t kiddin. You were scared.

2:30 "That's crazy! They don't age? So the time was frozen..."
No, not "time". Ripley was frozen.

Those are not just beds on those ships.
They freeze the passengers so that their body functions stop. No breathing, no eating, no pooping, nothing at all still functioning.
Not even aging functions.

All  of that is kind of the point.
Staying away for, oh, let's say a 20 month trip (and 20 more months returning) means the people age 3 years, 4 months while they sit around doing nothing, just waiting to get where they are going.
And those people need air, food, water, heat, and electricity for all 40 months.

Or, freeze them and they don't need any of that.
All they need is enough electricity to keep their freezer running.

Yes!  From Terminator!  Good call, he's very different in this!

Both films were directed by James Cameron (Titanic!).

"they can bill me" 😂
