Hello guys, Onad here. In this video ,let's answer one of the common question you hear from foreigners about Manila City, "Is it safe?" .
Join me as I explore Manila after midnight, starting from Recto Bridge and walking along Recto Avenue until I reach Rizal Avenue. From there, I continue towards Plaza Sta. Cruz, then enter Ongpin Street and walk all the way to Binondo Church, where the journey ends.
By the time the walk finishes, it’s already past 1:00 AM.
This is a real, unfiltered look at what Manila is like in the early hours of the morning.

Situational awareness. Tama yan. Iba Ang itsura pag gabi,iba Ang situasyon, iba din pati mga tao. May kalma na iba at may peligro ding iba. I can see the streets and buildings more. Maiging panoorin before visiting during the day. Iba din diskarte mo and it is very likeable with solid information and advice. Salamat for a very nice content. Keep up the great work. Great video! If put safety away, I prefer this vibe over vibe in places like BGC. Even if it’s a mess, there are more visual objects to look at, and people don’t have that cold formal corporate attitude. Food from street vendors or small cafe still not healthy option, but I don’t have to wait in lines forever and pay fortune for same sugar and fat nutrition I typically get in corporate parts of the city. People are more happy to see me as a customer, because my visit matter. Also after such night walk I can sleep well because I’m happy that I came home as a whole piece. It’s a healthy stress. In BGC I can’t sleep well, because I’m thinking that I’m wasting my time and money, and elevator is broken again, and there was no table at cafe when I needed it, and people everywhere play like they don’t notice me.😆

Excellent video and commentary, thank you. Love Ongpin and Binondo. Been travelling to the Philippines for almost 50 years (married my Filipina wife in '77) and I've always felt reasonably safe, as long as I follow the same advice you give at 10:40
