Jamie Komoroski was sentenced to 25 years in prison earlier this month for the 2023 crash that killed Sam Miller on her wedding night. Now, Komoroski is asking South Carolina Judge Deadra Jefferson to reconsider her sentence. Komoroski claims her sentence was too harsh. She didn’t just kill someone she hospitalized 3 people and killed one. 4 people. She hurt 4 people. The hospitalized deserve their justice as well. It’s not just a dui death it’s harming a whole group of people 4 people I hope the judge keeps the sentence

Her actions on bodycam after the wreck played heavily into sentencing. She showed zero remorse.

"Grossly disproportionate"???? EXCUSE ME???? That man lost his wife of only TWO HOURS, and they wanna argue that 25 years is too much time and not fair?

She only pled guilty because there was no way a jury was coming back with not guilty

It's her behaviour immediately after the arrest. She was absolutely remorseless, refused to take the sobriety test, refused to take accountability for it, by saying "they should not have been in a golf kart" and relentlessly kept demanding to speak to her daddy, instead of contemplating what she has just done.
Her behaviour in the aftermath, was the cause of why it went viral and also, it was a bride on her wedding night.

If I was the judge, I would play her phone calls in the courtroom where she blames the newlywed couple for the crash. She's only crying for herself.

She said in court she would accept any time the judge gave her. Then she looked shocked when she was given 25 years. She is a selfish joke

Since this is the first time she killed someone she should get a lighter sentence?!?! She should get an extra 5 years for complaining. She KILLED an innocent woman.
