The last days of 1930... The Ağrı Rebellion had been suppressed; however, the resistance had not completely ended. Seyithan and Alican, along with their fellow rebels, had moved to the Muş region and settled in various areas. These two resistance fighters would keep the last sparks of the rebellion alive for a few more years. They were pursued by Ali Kemal Bölükbaşı, known as "Delu Kemal," and his mobile gendarmerie regiment.
In this program, we trace the footsteps of Seyithan and Alican, almost forgotten in official historical narratives; we examine the resistance extending from Muş to Rojava, the state's pursuit, and the heavy oppression suffered by the people of the region through historical testimonies and documents.
"In the Footsteps of History," a program researched and compiled by historian Sadat Ulugana and edited and produced by Özgür Rayzan, brings Kurdish history to the audience in a mini-documentary style.
