Downhill racing kicked off here at Crankworx Rotorua!
In this vlog we hit track walk, get some practice laps in, have an absolute hugey, and race in some brutal track conditions for my first downhill race of the season. The course is insanely fast with big roots, jumps, and a massive wooden drop… which I unfortunately had a worse case scenario moment on. Happy to have came away from it relatively unscathed!
Just part of racing bikes — but Rotorua always delivers.

When you finally press publish, your heart races as you refresh the page. Views rise briefly and then slow. Retention drops early, and suddenly it feels personal. Yet you keep creating, because somewhere out there, someone might stop scrolling and truly connect.
If you’re open, I’d love to share a few ideas on how your videos could reach the right audience and start seeing real engagement.
Reminded me of Gracey Hemstreet at Mont St Anne.
Glad your bike is okay!
Subbed & here for the journey thanks for being a great rep for the USA!!
They need ‘on-board’ cameras to live feed as in motor racing.
