David Ghantt is an ordinary armored-car driver stuck in a boring routine, transporting millions of dollars every day while dreaming of a more exciting life. Everything changes when his charming coworker Kelly Campbell convinces him to join an outrageous plan to steal a fortune.

Together with the reckless Steve Chambers and his group of inexperienced criminals, David becomes part of a robbery that seems almost impossible. The plan actually works, and millions of dollars disappear — but David makes a disastrous mistake by trusting the wrong people with the money.

Soon, David is left to take the blame while the real criminals enjoy their stolen fortune. Forced to flee to Mexico under a false identity, he discovers that the people behind the robbery are willing to betray anyone who gets in their way.

Meanwhile, an eccentric hitman is sent to track David down, while the FBI begins closing in on the entire operation. What follows is a chaotic race involving double-crosses, ridiculous mistakes, lavish spending, and one unlucky man determined to survive.
