I did not mind drinking these, 15 years ago, when I got a carton of them for $39.
24 to a carton.
They are strong tasting, but all German beer is full flavoured.
Brings back memories, of my drinking days.

I’m a longtime fan of European lagers and pilsners. This beer along with Hollandia is my current go to for affordable European lager. So many European and Japanese beers over the last ten years have decided to license out their brewing to Australian companies and they taste inferior and nothing like the originals ie, Peroni, Heineken, Stella Artois, Asahi, Kirin. If you think that beer was strong and malty buy some Yebisu Japanese lager which is a genuine imported brew.

I'd have thought you'd have a Stein after all those visits to the Oktoberfest. I never did go to the Oktoberfest out your old stomping grounds but I have been to The Rocks, Sydney a few times for the German street food and also the Lowenbrau Keller for the Pork Knuckle during the fests. I was never a fan of german beer even when I could drink it, as you said it being bitter. I bought a few fest things from Aldi, mustards, sauerkraut and those yummy peanut puffs while the sale was on. Most of it has gone now. Thanks for the review. Cheers 🍻Mike 👍😀🇦🇺

I went to Fairfield Octoberfest from 1986. It was a great night out. A lot of fun. All I can remember now is doing the chicken dance with dozens of people. So many beers to try. I would go again if it was on.
