I have a question.  Ethiopia is going around and saying my "economy is growing so fast, so i need a port."  If Ethiopia's economy is growing rapidly, as she is claiming, that means Ethiopia is earing a lot of revenue (money). If so, then why doesn't Ethiopia pay for port service peacefully to Djibouti or Eritrea and use the ports? Why does it want to invade Eritrea and take a port by force and bring a lot of death and destruction  along the way? Why?

This documentary only serves to increase the tension in the society between Eritreans and Ethiopians, which is contra-productive. People of both countries are torn apart because of formats like this. It's very difficult to come close to each other when media and news agencies produce western perspective formats like this for a conflict in a multicultural region - which means that the narrative of the conflict is a proxy, too. If formats like this truly aim for educational or informational purpose, then views of both sides must be equally represented, that means experts must be heard with deep rooted knowledge without setting antagonist and protagonist.

To strengthen trade and the economy, world leaders must bring solutions, and Ethiopia must not remain landlocked. Egypt and Eritrea want a narrow-minded government like the past TPLF, which never understood the importance of having a port for more than 100 million people with a high growth rate, yet remained landlocked.

The friendship was never genuine to begin with—it was born out of desperation. On the Eritrean side, their leader had been politically and diplomatically isolated for decades and using the opportunity to bring him to light. On the Ethiopian side, the leader was inexperienced, superficial, and acted impulsively without addressing the root causes. He was driven more by fantasy than by realism.
