Yes on my layout 42 point motors underneath and on the top all wire up by me 5 C D U units Bill

Id recommend a separate circuit with a CDU unit attached at the start, this will eliminate the draw from the others circuits plus it will also prevent a delay when switching the point. I'd suggest a separate power supply

I normally use Peco side mount point motors a lot easier to wire up especially with Peco levers they have Bill

Thank you for this tutorial.  I have several point motors and different colour throw switches.  But no information on how to wire.

The motor is of the older "solenoid" construction and causes a large drain.
You need what is known as a "Capacitor Discharge Unit" for the point motor.
Its also worth noting that the big wires are pointless as the feed from the controller is using small wires.
The (relative) hugh  current draw with solenoids is why people switched to servos which use a lot less current but need more electronics to control.
