"Everybody's called an artist these days, but trust me, there are very few who are the real thing." And that still holds true to this day.

Greatest soundtrack of all time to me. Amazing on every single level. Timeless.

Best movie ever, in my opinion and it couldnt have been so without Hans Zimmer.
Just genius !

They way he talks about his self-doubt really surprised me, as he is amazing and it's something that I definitely go though on projects at times. If someone of his caliber goes though it too, then I feel a lot better lol.

Gladiator was definitely a peak moment, and still my favourite soundtrack by Zimmer. The Lisa+Hans combo was a perfect musical marriage.

this score was genius.. probably the biggest reason why gladiator remains one of my favourite movies.. everytime i watch it seemingly awakens some dormant emotions inside....... beautiful.

Funny how he can doubt his own work...when he's such a legend and has made so many amazing sound tracks.

Makes me want to become a composer myself. Now if only I had any talent...

The stuff he says about the first four bars being impossible and feeling that you're a fraud and won't be able to do it again, composers: Isn't that how we all feel? I find it encouraging that even Hans Zimmer does it.

Hans Zimmer is the best movie composer of our time..I remember when I saw the Gladiator...what an experience it was.I also like Howard Shore, Harry Gregson-Williams and James Horner.

Hans Zimmer respect button ✅

he is so modest and so simple...he speaks as a human being - accepting that he makes mistakes and learns from them...that s what makes these guys great and unique...so inspiring and so passionate about what they do!

the oscar should awarded Hans Zimmer for this movie.

I don't understand how there could be so much philosophy in his work...omg. Notes are not just notes...it is like he has a paint brush that draws them and as the movie unfolds he colours it appropriately. He is not just brilliant but rather gifted!
