Sorry Julia pressed the send button too quickly 😀😀 I had my granddaughters this week, they went home today. We followed your tutorial on making journals and they loved watching them. The little one (8years) is entranced by the Titanic so we visited the small exhibition in Liverpool and she made a wonderful journal on the story of Titanic. Her sister (11years) is an avid writer so her journal is one for her stories. We had lots of fun tea dyeing the paper and making tags. Thank you Julia for your tutorial, it really inspired them. Using reverse applique (and even quilting the motif) on a sweatshirt is a great idea. Love the additional detail at the neck. So cute! And yay for the embroidery element that pulls it all together. Thanks for sharing and thanks for the inspiration.

I absolutely love this, I truthfully have never seen this done, it looks so interesting. I have a sweatshirt that I love to just wear around the house so I think that I might use it as a test subject. What an awesome Christmas gift for the family. Another clever idea. A great deconstruction of the plain, boring sweatshirts that are in the stores. love the slits at the bottom side seams. Stay south for a couple more weeks! We have high winds, falling temps and rain changing to snow. Brrrrrrr. :-)
