It never ceases to amaze me how well REMake 1 and 0 hold up visually. I think they may have been the first time a game lived up to or even surpassed those pre rendered cutscenes we all thought were so cutting edge at the time.

Rebecca: "This room is full of all kinds of medications. They all seem to be from Umbrella. Speaking of Umbrella, did you know they have this crazy training facility about a mile away full of monsters and zombies just like this mansion, and every document I saw in there suggests they're straight-up directly responsible for all of it?"

Of all unfinished and unreleased games in history I don't think there's one I'd want to play more than the N64 version of Resident Evil Zero.

Though it suffered many technical issues, I would've loved to see a completed version of RE0 on the Nintendo 64. I just love the old-school, lower-resolution look of the classic games.

Carrying the grapple gun everywhere in this game was the true challenge.

Hard to believe that RE0 was originally going to be on the N64.

It would be so cool if Capcom released some official playable builds of things like Resident Evil 0 N64, Resident Evil 1.5 and Resident Evil 1 GBC for the 30th Anniversary. So we could get the most up-to-date versions possible.

It's kind of funny how CAPCOM paid attention to consistency in Rebecca's outfit between RE1 Remake and REØ while the latter made sure that her behavior in the former made no sense at all.

The N64 port of Resident Evil 2 is still such a technically impressive showcase of optimization.

It should be noted that Capcom opened their own mocap division in 2023 (Creative Studio)

I loved this game. My brother and I made a makeshift coop experience by one person controlling Rebecca and the other controlling the other character. Though one person was always spectating, we both had a chance to play and watch

I'm sure Sega saw the plans for the 64 DD and said, "Yeah, good luck with that..."

Nuts to think Resident Evil, despite it's ups and downs, has been a staple for over 2 decades at this point

I had fun with 0, but those simian B.O.Ws were such a pain. They were small, fast, and hopped around off camera so much. They were ammo sponges and had no business being so tanky.

4:22  I remember being in college and a girl friend of mine looked at Billy’s tattoo and said “Mother Love?”  My mind was blown because I had never noticed it said that 😅

I hope the inevitable remake turns out to be amazing. This game has potential, but there are too many annoyances that prevent that potential from coming to fruition.

My favorite part of Wha Happun is when they play the "style at the time" clip. My second favorite part is when they explain what happened

Whoever decided to make Rebecca so weak and ditch the goddamn inventory box needs to be slapped multiple times!!!!

It's mental to think that they were working on RE Zero, RE1 remake AND RE4! All 3 games came out in the same generation!!!

once you see "mother love" on billy's tattoo, you cannot unsee it
