In this SPEEDRUN EXPLAINED, I break down how the world record holder for Resident Evil 2 (2019), Frit, beats the game in 51 minutes. Straight up, this game is incredible, and in my opinion, so is the speedrun. This is a relatively easy route to follow, with a very high skill ceiling for shaving off time in the margins. The route of course includes things like Frit's masterful ability to manipulate and avoid enemies, movement tech like stair skating and quick turning, precise angles when fighting bosses, and much more. Hopefully this video might inspire some of you out there to try your hand at speedrunning this masterpiece of a game.

My head canon for Leon’s costume during the sewer segment is that if he contracts ALL of the diseases, then they’ll gang up on the T / G viruses & grant him immunity. Big brain boy right there.

23:16 hey I'm confused. A little tiny bit before this you say that Leon blueballed Mr X. But only a little bit before that you say Leon blew Mr X. So did Leon blow Mr. X but not finish him off? Is that why Mr. X is so adamant on chasing you around?

Petition for tomato to do a breakdown of Amnesia The Bunker glitchless speedrun. It's actually one of those rare cases when glitchless is far more interesting than any%
I'd say it's also a very beginner friendly speedrun, as this is the only game I'm speedrunning (after only playing it twice before)

Tomatoanus, I like that you always use the plural 'speedrunners' in the titles of your vids even though we're only watching one person's run. Because it's a community effort, and players draw from the experience and advice of others to constantly improve. These runs are the product of many people's efforts. And that's just cool.
