Babylon 5: The Impossible 5-Year Story TV Said Couldn't Be Made

Babylon 5, Star Trek Deep Space Nine, J. Michael Straczynski, Warner Bros, the Minbari, the Shadows, Bruce Boxleitner, 90s sci-fi, serialized television, and the Hugo Awards all come together in this deep dive into the real story of how Babylon 5 got made.
One writer planned an entire five-year story in advance, something American television had never done, pitched it around Hollywood, and then watched a suspiciously similar space-station show appear on a rival network run by the very studio that had read his notes and passed.
This video tells the story of how Babylon 5 fought its way onto the air, pioneered the pre-planned story arc that modern prestige TV now runs on, survived a cast crisis and the collapse of its own network, and did it all under a thirty-year cloud of one question the fandom still argues about: did they steal it?
Whether you grew up rushing home to watch it or you're discovering the station for the first time, this is the improbable true story behind the sci-fi show that wasn't Star Trek.

the same evil that is behind The Holocaust and 9/11; the totally and utterly disrespect for human lives.
I am afraid that if we never ever do learn from the past (unlike that whatever has wiped out the Dinosaur) our own stupidity will be the cause of our extinction.
However, Babylon 5 is a true masterpiece which like a gigantic mirror reflects the past into the future and through Babylon 5 we are able to learn from it.
Perhaps Babylon 5 is our last, best hope for peace...
