~~~Synopsis of this episode~~~
I'm a single man who works from home writing programs and lives quietly with my elderly, retired guide dog. A distant relative died in an accident, and all the relatives tried to foist their six-month-old baby onto me. At the infant care center, a staff member told me, "This baby hasn't cried even once since the accident. He doesn't even smile." The tiny body I held for the first time was incredibly light. I decided I wouldn't let anyone abandon this child—I decided to take him in. Who would have thought that this baby and an old dog would become a family? This is the story of how an awkward man, an old dog whose duty is over, and a tiny life become a true family.
