Damn the cellist popped off. I keep coming back to this recording because of her. Also the pianist's trill is insane, at one point it becomes almost undetectable.

Watched this again, becoming my favorite version of the Tripelkonzert! - many others available, but the magic of this one is neverending... it is a musical monument that typifies in a small way... what CIVILIZATION is all about.

Nicholas Angelich riposi in pace . E' andato via troppo presto.

Einmalig, exzellentes Konzert,!

What would we do without this wonderful Frankfurt orchestra? and then we are blessed with admirable and multi-talented soloists.... added to which we have a fabulous sound technology... all at a bad time for the world.... thank you again, so very much. Great appreciation from the UK.

The first movement: not a second of rest, constant illumination. What a composition...

This piece is like cello concerto from Beethoven. Cello part is main role in this piece.

This how Beethoven meant it to be interpreted as.

Streaming it now on tv. What a bittersweet memory of the late Great Pianist Nicholas Angelich! The amazing soloists Nicholas Angelich, Gil Shaham, Anne Gastinel, Sinfonieorchester conducted by impeccable Paavo Järvi are all that needed to make Beethoven: Tripelkonzert sound so exquisite! Thank you.
