Second Lieutenant Lee Ji-ho, son of Samsung Chairman Lee Jae-yong, who renounced his U.S. citizenship to enlist, has appeared in the Korea Defense Daily.
According to military authorities, Second Lieutenant Lee attended the ROK-U.S. Naval Education Commander Cooperation Meeting held on the 9th of last month at the Naval Education Command in Jinhae-gu, Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province.
Although he is currently assigned to the Information Operations Staff Seat within the Navy's 5th Mine Landing Group, he attended the meeting to support nearby units; his presence became known to the public after a photo of him was published in the Korea Defense Daily.
