Orson Wells was most deffinitly a genius.
"Citizen Kane" arguably among the top 3 movies of all time.  O.W. became one debased dude though.. Fame can be so destructive. Glad GD has support and grounding influences around him. His new music and 2023  activities are something to look forward to. I enjoy your POV comments.

Hey Darien.. just a quick note as you just posted this... Gdragon just released a 3 minute announcement on you tube.  New album coming this year! Exciting news! Nice if you could react as it's happening now 🙂 ( Also its worth watching all the episodes of the Bigbang story - you can find English subtitled options on this platform.  - would be great to watch them again with your comments)

G DRAGON THE KING FOREVER

Thanks for this reaction! I think it took GD a long time to come to terms with how vicious haters can be. Good thing is he has a lot of people around him who he trusts, as they are his long-time friends. Another good thing is music is not the only outlet for his creativity. After his last solo album, he came out with three consecutive sneakers collaboration with NIKE three years running. So much so, fans just wanted him to stop selling shoes and start making music 😂!

GD I think is lucky to have a support system.  His family is there for him and BigBang members may not be perfect but he had these 4 other guys who shared the hard times, the work and the success . Taeyang especialy because he is like a rock, this down to earth person . Jiyong is an introvert he would get depressed call Seungri and he would tell him " we will make it" and give him a confidence bust . Today GD posted a video on instagram and his YouTube.  Looks like the waiting is over and he sorted out things in his life . He is ready to move to the next stage. New album and other projects will be comming . By the way things look I think he maybe got his own sub-label of YG. In 2023 we should have solo albums from TOP and TAEYANG too. Taeyang moved from YG to producer Teddy's sub-label The Black Label . Daesung left YG and so far he didnt announced any plans .

Korea , the country were rappers are expected to be model citizens . Is kind of funny that TOP has a criminal record now and that would be street credibility usualy in rap except smoking weed would probably be considered too soft . He is bad in Korea but not bad enough for international level 😅  Sometimes I wonder what GD and BigBang could have done if they were not limited by idol industry and korean culture but at the same time censorship can make you creative in different directions because you have to kind of go around it. I remember watching a documentary about old Hollywood and how many technics of filming and stuff came out because they had to go around rules and suggest stuff . Like you said GD trained as a rapper but he does music in different styles because I think kpop industry is that a melting place where different music genres are mixed together. There is limitations but also freedom in  other direction.  I am no expert but saw a reaction of a rapper He said in US there are cathegories inside rap and one has to chose , you are not alowed to just mix stuff but in kpop he saw all sort of stuff mixed together.  This is why I hate people calling everything cultural apropiation.  A lot of times barrowing end up help evolve something like you make food and fallow a recepy but then different people start add new condiments.  One must not condemn the people who genuinly have an interest în something from another culture.
