22LR is heavily dependent on ammo .... mid-priced ammo gives mid-priced results. You need to try some Lapua Center X .... You cant get consistent .33 average groups without Great (Lapua) ammo. You can get a .28 with Team but the next group can be .56. Mid priced ammo gives mid priced results. Good shooting .... have fun
Same barrel on mine shoots Eley SABR and Target in the .3s on the average. SKRM and SKPM also do .3s average. You need a more stable bipod and even better a rest to keep you vertical and rigid for consistency.
I agree with the other comment you need something besides a front bipod. Do you know anyone that has a one piece rest or a front rest with a joystick like a seb AR 250 with a Protektor rear bag you can borrow? If you were able to test ammo with one of these set ups I believe it would improve your groups sizes. I 've been shooting a CZ457 Pro-Varmint Suppressor -Ready with a 21" Lilja barrel , Jard trigger, headspaced at .042 and Harrells tuner using Eley Team for 3 years. The rifle shoots very well. I know your rifle doesn't have a tuner that might be something to look into if you want the smallest groups. I get 50 rounds of several lots of the Team to test. A couple of lots in the 1040, 1050, 1060, 1070 and 1080 Vel You would be surprised at the different group sizes using same ammo just a different lots. Good Luck hope you find the ammo your gun likes !
