I will share the first look of the Gearlab Outdoors latest Greenland Paddle, the IPIK 225. As someone who loves all the products from Gearlab Outdoors, I had the privilege of being one of the first to test out the Ipik 225. I did not know what to expect as I was not given much information about the paddle except for its length.
I really enjoyed using the Ipik 225 and I am sure it will easily become one of my favourite paddles in my already large collection of Gearlab Outdoor Greenland Paddles!

Not related to a greenland paddle, but more general kayaking in Hong kong. I live here too. Anyway I've been renting sit on tops for a few months now mostly from the Tai Mei Tuk area. I find it limiting because you'll get perfect days but the shop owner decides not to open.
I saw in a previous video somewhere you did some training in Wu Kai Sha beach. I recognise it as I paddled over there a few weeks ago, do you have the contact details. I'm thinking of buying a skin on Kayak purely because of the portability. I don't have a car like I did in the UK. Just trying an inflatable Itiwit Strenfit X500 it felt a hell of a lot more tippy than the GYATT sit on tops.
I think maybe I ought to learn how to self rescue/roll a capsized kayak before I go any further. I'm kinda stupid in that way and it's better to learn, know and not to need self rescue skills, than to need self rescue skills and not know them.
Leisure and Cultural Services Department offers a course but looking at the timings it'll take 3+ months to complete.
