This Coast Guard boat sat waiting 3 years before we could finally move it - 50 ton rotator job.

The Last Patrol Museum waited three years to get this boat transported. At over 14ft tall, 12ft wide, and nearly 50,000lb on the trailer, it was quite the move.

Used a 50 ton rotator to get it done and deliver it to the location where it'll be restored, and eventually moved back to the water. Hoping I get to drive it once it's done.

Built in 1965, this thing was designed to self-right if it ever capsized. Coast Guard used these from the early 60s up through 2000. It even rolled about 100° once during a real rescue back in '78 or '79 - you can still see the patch.

Watch till the end and check out some of the other cool stuff they have at the museum.
