Who's watching this in 2025 with rumors about Rune King Thor being featured in Avengers Doomsday 2026.

Thor the most intriguing marvel comic book hero who always seems to find away to correct his many flaws as the God of thunder.

Also, it was hinted Those Who Sit Above in Shadow were Beyonders and from TOAAs House of Ideas. At that point, Rune King Thor is probably around Living Tribunal levels. Base Thor has handed Adam Warlock, the Infinity Watch, and Silver Surfer their asses at the same time, and then Thanos ran from him. He resisted several of the Infinity Stones at that time too, and no, it wasn't Warrior Madness, he was just pissed off and raging from being manipulated. Dr. Strange couldn't do anything either. He face tanked House of M Scarlet Witch and Havok at the same time and Wanda literally said she peered across "all realities and knows there is no defeating Thor." Not to mention he killed Exitar the Celesital. When literally every other hero/antihero was there and couldn't do anything. Captain Marvel literally stated that everyone there was powerless to do anything. Dr. Strange was there, Wanda, and Rogue who absorbed Wonderman and plethora of other people's abilities and didn't do anything. Thor pops up and kills him. Thor one shot Void too, you know, the worse half of Sentry who had ripped Ares in half like it was nothing. That was Void he killed, not Sentry, look at the panels.

Rune King Thor is just him realizing his potential. And he wasn't using the Odin Force. It just tagged along with him. Then again, Thor's been jobbered before to people like Rhino though...so....

Edit: for those requesting the source material, it's several comics.

Thor: Blood and Thunder
Avengers series for when he killed Exitar.
Seige for when Thor killed Sentry/Void.
Loki: Agent of Asgard issue 14 , 16, and actual issue 17 is where you find out TWSAIS are from the TOAAs House of Ideas. Al Ewing even confirmed TWSAIS were from the House of Ideas.
Defenders Beyond: Loki says he dealt with Beyonders, for the 2nd time.

Now he is finally the strongest avenger

So imagine Rune King Thor getting full unrestrained access to the Odin force as well

And to think there are people out there who believe that Old King Thor is stronger. This Thor is in a completely different league.

Such an epic conclusion despite how it just suddenly happens in relation to Dan Jurgens run before. A run which has gone relatively ignored for the most part mind you.

i really wish Marvel had stuck to the Norse mythology origin story of the hammer it's waaay more fascinating and shows Loki's mischief

dude, you should do voice acting! you have got an amazing voice!

also, now that you've covered Rune King Thor... could you talk about Loki God Of Stories And Myths?

Thor, when not nerfed, is cosmically powerful...way, way, wayyy beyond the Avengers' level.

Rune King Thor has the cosmic sap of Yggdrasil running in his veins. To give you an idea, the world tree is the center of everything and anything that is, was or will ever be and is the source of all mana in creation, the very reason why every sentient being in the multiverse can use magic. It's roots and branches stretch to infinity, creating infinite timelines with infinite planes of existence and infinite living beings who live, thrive and die eternally, with their life-force returning to the nexus, to let the tree scatter it throught time and space again. A single dewdrop on its leaves is the size of a universe.

EXCELLENT VIDEO BRO! This is the BEST rendition of the Rune King Thor storyline I’ve seen on YouTube! As 4 year old child that still somehow has 30+ years of being a true Thor fan, a true Marvel Comics nerd with swag (you like my orange bow tie?😆) and someone who’s actually read and owns numerous Thor (paperback) comic books, its so refreshing to finally see Thor content done  right.

You’re the first & only content creator (that I’ve seen) to include all of the relevant talking points & key details from this storyline… I must say my ONLY regret is that I didn’t find your channel SOONER!! Keep up the good work and your channel will continue to grow and blossom!

I hope they actually use Rune King Thor in Doomsday

Thor really gave Loki the God of War Mimir treatment

Really enjoyed the video alot. Rune king thor is one of my favorite characters in all of comics, it would be amazing if we could get him in a future marvel movie but it's highly unlikely.

I like how when thors about to die he’s just like “fuck fuck fuck what can I do? OH YEAH HUMAN FRIENDS”

True strength come from being actually smart in the Marvel Universe.

"thor becomes the strongest being in marvel"

the one above all: hold my beer.
