Have Baxi messed up with this boiler? Put your opinions below 🎉

Thanks for uploading.

Good video bud. Yeah I prefer the platinum compacts.

Nice neat install Dan, nothing wrong taking pride in your work.   (polishing the new pipes)  😊

They shit hate that wiring centre

The 2nd internal flue option is for flats, it’s basically got a flue snug built onto it so you push it through without having the cement it. 👍 top work fella

Video was spot on Dan, installed one today not a great prv, pipework is tight up the back or I need work on my bending lol.

Brilliant boiler, great video thanks pal

Installed one yesterday, that PRV outlet connection is horrendous. Wish Manufacturers would leave a good thing alone. The older version was better. Good job buddy 👍🏻

Love it when the van is close to the job! Can you do a van tour video mate? I'm always curious to see how other plumbers set up their vans.

Yep

Top job Dan ❤ looks a bit flimsy the boiler but you made it look good

I've done one before and it's not my favourite either. I'll stick to the Main eco compact unless I need something with a better output.

I'm with you on the combi 2 what were they thinking and that prv connection

Only thing I’d have done different is fit an ideal 😂

Pre heated trap was a great idea, left hand side very busy, yellow cover is a pain and magnets still the same…if the build quality is there it’s still a great boiler with a 10 year warranty but from an install point of view I can see how installers are feeling comparing it to the previous model…have to wait and see if there’s any common faults…least they have sorted the tractor seal out stop it rising up the flue 😂 nice swap mate 🙌👍

Condense connection is a pain and don’t like the prv connection either☹️ fitting a duotec compact tomorrow instead,it’s like the old 600

Agreed.  I didn't like it.  The burn seemed a little shocking too.

Comes with rubber elbow and straight rubber for condense. Elbow fits in there nicely

Tidy install young gun I wouldn't put the filter above the boiler much simpler to have left the return outside the boiler casing and have the filter easily accessible for cleaning and chemical doesing. Keep it up 💪👍
