Imagine that. Answering the question asked.

Ok politicians, this is what a real debate looks like.

I never knew Bobby Kennedy and Ronny Reagan ever debated.

Thank you for the upload.
Very interesting.

Reagan looks like he barely aged from 1967 to 1980’s

Gosh I wish we could have this type of conversation and debate today 😢.

Nice to see 2 adults debating.

In the Kennedy Museum in Boston I listened to the debates between JFK and Nixon and almost wanted to cry 😢, because of how LOW we went since.

two legendary figures in the history of American politics.

Unreal how the world has changed and certainly not for the better. An actual intelligent, respectful exchange of ideas and opinions. Today if you see two politicians debate issues you can tell after 30 seconds what their political affiliation is, same with the moderator from the media. Here if you didn't know them it'd take you a while to know. This country MUST be much more careful who we vote into office, we need compromise and respect as a mandatory requirement for anyone who wants to run and I'm talking both parties.

It's very sad to see how low the political discourse has become, and the caliber of political leaders has plummeted to great depths as well...right?

Two of the greatest political figures in US history love them or hate them they were both outstanding debaters.

Alternate Title:
Two very well spoken Gentlemen v/s Funny USSR.

Lyndon Johnson had a hand in ruining everything.

Not many people know this.  After World War II, Ho Chi Minh sought assistance from the United States to establish a democratic government in Vietnam and gain independence from French colonial rule. He even wrote a letter to President Truman in 1946, highlighting the need for support against French aggression.

Wow, the propaganda from back then sounds so much more sophisticated than today.

The guy from England is exhausting.

Both debated with dignity, today’s politicians should all watch how to behave.

For those that are young.  The realm of acceptable behavior in all columns of life in the US has shifted a great deal.  It's hard to say that the US is anything like it was pre 1990.

Notice how Reagan, and RFK keep cool , polite , cordial.
Both emphasized freedom of speech as a right.
Compare this to our  present terrible political climate ?

Dude, I have to get up in 5 hours to go to work, why am I watching this?
