My first bomber jacket! Do you have a favorite bomber jacket pattern?

NewLook 6545 Step #18 can be tricky. In this step, we need to sew the sleeve to the cuff. At the end of my pattern review, I will show you how to complete this step.

Another great video. I love the fabric you chose for your bomber jacket, and your jacket looks fabulous. Thank you for the demonstration on the attaching the sleeve lining to the cuff. That was extremely helpful and very much appreciated. I love the way you teach. It’s very clear and concise. I also love your website. That’s such a great jacket!! Wow!! Hats off to you! I wonder if I have that pattern...Colin has wanted a jacket for so long and I avoid it because of fabric and all that technical sewing. Your tutorial is really helpful!! Great job. One more thing, if I may: what model Bernina do you own and do you like it?

I have this pattern. You said you shorten the zipper. I never shorten a separated zipper. How did you do that??

Love that. Just curious as to why you didn’t just sew the lining to one side of the ribbing and the outer to the other or were these premade cuffs rather than rib material?
