My biggest issue with these MCs is that they never speak up , they bottle everything in then explode, everything he is saying in his internal monologue is what he needs to say to her , he needs to be firm but he never is. Majority of the blame needs to be on the wife however the husband has a lot of blame too for not putting his foot down and speaking up

Omg you cut down a 2 hour plus drama in 30 plus mins, its bad enough that AI and even these dramas seem to know nothing about time and follow through between scenes and plot lines and now you add heavily edited content and you have a story thats like a trailer for a movie. Some might say it was good but from start to finish it appears the writer didn't use one punctuation mark. Some stories do need editing but bad editing doesn't make the story better.
