The first time in Norway and then 28-31 week of pregnancy. Without a doubt an incomparable highlight of our road trip history.
Note on fishing in Norway:
Fishing in salt water (fjords, sea) is generally free for private individuals. This is not the case in fresh water (lakes, rivers, streams), i.e. you have to find out beforehand whether a permit (Fiskekort) is required. For lakes, a permit is sometimes required, for rivers almost always. There are many permits online at https://www.inatur.no/, but not all of them. We usually got all the information we needed locally in the supermarket or in a fishing shop (if there is one).
If the section of the river is "salmon-bearing", then the state fishing fee must be paid (additionally to the permit) to preserve and care for wild salmonid stocks (https://www.environmentagency.no/area....
