Doctor Doom is accompanied by witches in Avengers: Doomsday. The MCU makes a bold choice by surrounding Victor Von Doom with Latverian witches rather than his usual army.
And there are many symbols surrounding this creative decision made by the Russo brothers and Kevin Feige. In this video, we'll discuss this final revelation, the hidden messages behind the presence of these witches, and the infamous Boris, Doom's right-hand man. As well as the involvement of all the other heroes linked to magic or sorcery, such as Doctor Strange, Wanda Maximoff the Scarlet Witch, and Clea, Sylvie, Loki, Agatha, and Wiccan, to name just a few...
Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars draw heavily on the Marvel Comics epic: Time Runs Out. You'll see how the witches and Victor Von Doom in the MCU are actually based on Jonathan Hickman's lore, as are the Black Swans and the Black Priests with their incursions.
In short, a fascinating topic for a fascinating video, aiming to unravel the mysteries and secrets of this Marvel Cinematic Universe film destined to shake up continuity. Doctor Doom's Coven is here, and it's up to us to adapt its story from the comics.
