“I’d like to do a whole talk on flies but I’m not sure the world is ready for that.” 😂 This is a fascinating talk!

I really appreciate your time and effort on your garden and all the information about the insects 😊. We are in the willamette valley zone and have started adding pollinator flowers and plants to an older garden that had been neglected for 8 years 😅. 8 years later, berry vines and english ivy mostly gone, lots of asters, monarda, goldenrod etc, I am also seeing bee's and hover flys and small fast things around in our little world. I even got my husband to take out the front lawn. Your photography was so helpful, and I am grateful to be able to watch it as often as I can to make future plant choices as fall is just around the corner. Thank you again for your time and expertise.

Missing bugs you need too come too my house . I think they have produced more bugs. Because people quit using pesticides. The aphids took over this year and the squash bug and stink bug and the cabbage moth. The cabbage moth spread powdery mildew and killed my cucumbers, cantaloupe and watermelon. I kill he dam things their young eat my Brussels and cabbage. I have mass lady bug they can’t keep up with the aphids . Bad bugs are taking over and spreading viruses too the bees killing the bees. Virus is the number one reason bees are dying not people using pesticides. Since we started using neem the bad bugs are taking over this is not good for fruit and vegetable companies. And home growers . Grow some vegetables and see how much you breed these bugs. I have Hibiscus aphids it’s killing my plant . I wouldn’t encourage people too breed bug . I’d rather eat than feed the bug . I would be encouraging wasps and lady beetles than caterpillars. I live in the Yakima valley where we grow most the fruit nationally. We don’t need these creatures eating crops.

I had millions and millions of aphid on my last years cabbage this year . The neighbor grows the snowball tree aphids lay their eggs in this tree so it can winter over then aphids spread errrr . You’re destroying other farmers gardens if you breed or don’t kill off the bad bugs that eat your food . The caterpillars eat our apple trees we need them for production apples feed the world . I can’t believe you’re telling people to not kill off bad bugs .
