Jokes aside, I really love the idea that the person in the suit is actually just a very unfortunate poor soul, who's not at all connected to the story and was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, it feels very nostalgic of old fnaf to have an outsider be pushed into this mess

As someone who has actually worn mascot suits, the Sleeping Moon looks to be on the more comfortable side, outside of your legs getting sore after a while. Lots of room in there to breathe and expel sweat.

Hot take: I actually find the Sleepy Moon's lullaby kinda sweet. Sure, the design of Sleepy Moon would absolutely give any child under 6 nightmares for years, but the lullaby itself is kinda calming. If it were sung by a loving father to his baby, there would be nothing wrong with it.

It's like the difference between hearing a baby cry on an airplane, and hearing a child cry in the basement of an abandoned home. Context, people. It's about CONTEXT.

Sleepy Moon and the Tiger are both interesting characters because of the implications that neither might be the mimic but something else. Murray's Costume Manor has more horrors than just rouge ai.

I wonder if the implication is that the guy stuck in the suit fell with the moon from the Storytime Showroom and got stuck in the suit because looking at the schematics I cannot imagine someone getting in or out of that thing on their own. We don't have an exact timeline as to when the moon fell from the ceiling, but Mr. Helpful claiming that the Storytime Showroom is closed for pending lawsuits could point that the moon falling from the ceiling happened BEFORE the factory was abandoned.

I think moon.exe is a blank mimic copy (M2) being trained to become David. You are the mimic - the sun and the moon, Edwin's technology and a copy of M1/ Fionas code. You are being fed David's memories - your room, your roxy hat etc. Then the sun gives you the Owl mask - a 'costume' so that you can mimic David, and when you finally take on davids visage, all the moon - edwin, can do is weep. It's too painful for him to confront, leading to the whole being beaten thing and him going mimic mode. But since this is a game - fionas game, that doesn't happen and instead everything goes well and you help everyone else. Idk food for thought

I always thought that before turning evil coo coo crazy,Moon was mellow,calm,kind but strict yet fair.
Like "Okay,you can finish your tower but go to bed right after" or singing them lullabys and watching over them from above,like a protector.

Your the first person to make the stuck employee theory make sense, it would make sense for him to be performing IN the sleepy moon costume, be unable to take it off, some goober to see him and freak out, then for him to go insane.

11:42 I'll be honest, I think the (in game) reason for the lack of body is right in front of us.

The cleaning bot is right there, still sweeping up the mess. It's probably been at it for a while. I felt a pit in my stomach at the implications there when I saw it for the first time, but I don't think I've heard anyone else mention it.

I feel moon.exe is just supposed to be M1/Fiona's future vision for M2, I feel like the line "you are now both the moon and soon" is clearly made to tell us that M2 has fulfilled it's purpose of becoming David, it's basically Fiona trying to tell M2 that it is the son of Edwin and Fiona, we know this because the sun is represented by Fiona and the moon is represented by Edwin
