This time by doing a mock rib at the top, that helps shape the crown of the hat better. Can be worked on any pattern, machine or yarn, just a matter of getting the 2x1 mock rib to work out at the crown

HI Roberta, I think this may be my favorite way to do the hats now, I really like the way this one looks, I am working on a baby blanket right now, when I finish I think I will follow along and try this.

Hi Breda - Your hat is SO LOVELY! I’m interested in purchasing a knitting machine that produces tighter (smaller) stitches like the two you have featured. I own an Addi King but don’t like the larger stitches it produces for my hats. Is there a machine you might recommend for me, please? I am a beginner. Thank you!
