Any weapon is a mechanism with its own operating and contamination limits, after which it begins to malfunction. All these malfunctions are called "firing delays," the most common of which are described in the weapon's operating instructions or manuals. If such a delay occurs at a shooting range, it can, in the worst case, result in the loss of a competition or a bad mood. If it occurs in combat, it can lead to the death of a fighter. Therefore, to avoid being left without a weapon at the most critical moment, it must be serviced. Always, whenever possible. The functionality of your weapon is your life.
There's field cleaning, which requires minimal maintenance on a few critical areas of the weapon to ensure it doesn't fail or gets working again immediately. It can be done with any available means, from WD-40 to water from a puddle if nothing else is available.
There's also normal gun maintenance, which is performed in a calm environment using tools and gun cleaning chemicals designed for guns.
We decided to explore both of these processes in one video. We'll also address several myths and amusing misconceptions about "brick cleaning" and other tales from all times and places.
The following brands of cleaning chemicals were used in the video: Ultman, Trubkozub, Rosoil, and Treal-M.
