I head back out for another night camping outside in Manchester.
The weather remains unpredictable as usual, but this time, my tent started struggling to stay up properly, leaving me having to physically hold parts of it up at times.
I'm now five nights into this series, and every night (and day) seems to teach me something new about sleeping outside, whether that's the weather, my equipment, choosing somewhere to sleep or simply adapting to situations I hadn't anticipated.
The support on these videos has continued to amaze me. Thank you to everyone who's been watching, subscribing, donating and leaving genuinely useful advice in the comments. I've been reading your suggestions and taking a lot of them on board. I'm slow at times getting through the comments as they continue to build so if you've asked a question I'm sure you'll understand that with my current situation especially, why it's taking me a bit to get back to you. I appreciate you taking the time to leave comments nonetheless.
If you're new here, this series documents my experience of homelessness in the UK and what it's actually like spending my nights sleeping rough in Manchester.

This video documents my personal experience of sleeping rough and is not intended as advice or encouragement to sleep rough or camp illegally.
Please don't attempt to replicate what I did based solely on this video. Sleeping outdoors can involve significant risks, including exposure to cold and wet weather, dehydration, injury, crime, unsafe locations and other hazards. If you are experiencing homelessness yourself, please consider contacting your local council, homelessness services or another appropriate support organisation rather than attempting to replicate this experience.
I am documenting my own experience — not recommending it as something others should try.

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY ZERO OBLIGATION TO DONATE so please don't feel any pressure whatsoever! I highly appreciate you simply listening to my story.
P.S. I originally planned to get this one uploaded yesterday, but a few things got in the way and I wasn't able to finish it in time. Excuse the fact that today is actual Day 251 out of 365 😂
