Regarding the keys, research shows the following: Vintage 1990s Ford Tibbe Key Set with Red Master Transponder Key. A Ford 1990s red key is a master programming key used for vehicles equipped with the PATS (Passive Anti-Theft System) immobilizer,  the Mk3 Fiesta, early Mondeo Mk1/Mk2, and early Escort models. Ford switched to a two-key blue/black programming system around 1998, phasing out the red master key. This system uses a red master key and 2 other user keys already programmed to the car (i.e., ignition keys). The purpose of the red key is to put the car into programming mode to allow further keys to be programmed to your vehicle. Once you insert the Ford red master key, your car will enter programming mode. Then, you must cycle the ignition with 2 additional keys cut for your vehicle, programming each one in turn.

Really creepy to think that my family unknowingly drove past her body whilst on our holiday journeys to and from the south west

I was 17 when she disappeared ….why did the friends leave her? Why didn’t they get a taxi with her? You should NEVER leave a friend behind. All these years later and the killer still has been caught?? I feel for her poor family. Terrifying to think that monster is still out there.

I was 3 months old when she was killed how has it been 30 years and nothing has been found ?

💔 for Melanie and her family. All these years later and no answer for her family must be incredibly hard.

I doubt this one’s going to get solved unfortunately

Unbelievable, that after all that and 30 years, they are none the wiser, who did this. When you look at the amount of unsolved murders, or bodies never recovered, in this Country over the previous 60 years, it's actually quite frightening. No wonder some people have little faith, in our  Police & justice system today.

Im from near the area and I won’t name details or name drop, but I was told years ago that the police know who did it but they can’t bring the pieces together to bring a charge to the individual from the CPS, and it’s somebody local

Christopher Halliwells sister lives not far from that sliproad

What about the bin liners? They can get trace elements and fingerprints and DNA from them.

Blue rope found is  also used on barges for its strength and water-resistant qualities .

Personal killing

If anyone wants to save themselves 1 hour and  minutes, they still don't know who killed her.

What about dna off the keys?

The ones found in a bag after a quick death is better than some other poor peoples death - I watched a crime show and a woman got put in a wood chipper! Crazy stuff that one!

I saw this on crime watch
I automatically thought that the doctor had something to do with it
How sad poor girl
Im guessing her mum has passed i hope shes back with her daughter ❤

Next case.. Claudia Lawrence of York. Missing since 2009

If the boyfriend went back after sitting in the car or waited for her outside..he would have been raging given her flirting with others….
