What an incredible job. I'm sure the neck is now stronger than it was when it left the factory.

Many years ago, before the Internet told us the correct way to do things, I repaired a snapped off headstock on a '70s Hagström Swede. I got it quite cheap, as the previous repair attempt used a pair of cheap Stove Bolts (the kind with the square nuts), that went right through the neck, and had dug square divots into the crushed Mahogany. I used Bondo to fill the divots, sanded smooth, and 2 part Epoxy to glue. Fairly close colour match with a spray can off the shelf at the hardware store, and looked OK from arm's length. It held fine until my older Son left the guitar on his bed, and his younger brother sat on it.

Every time i see such a great headstock repair.. I always think.  Man.. If that was mine I'd want the neck left unpainted. To show off the craftsmanship.  ❤

Hope you find the perfect place, don’t worry I pretty sure everyone will be here when you get back , your an awesome, creative woodworker, and a pleasure to watch, see you soon, Colin 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I came across your channel by accident, and man I’m blown away at your craftsmanship. I followed you instantly. Keep up the great work.

What a joy to watch a real craftsman at work!

Thoroughly impressed by the results, was not expecting a flawless entire neck refinish and unidentifiable headstock repair 🔥🔥🔥

holy hells bells   !!    outstanding job !!!!  whoever is getting this guitar back will be beyound grateful!!!!!!

You're not an a-hole. I truly appreciate your honesty and care in explaining your thought process as you go through these repairs. Happy new year! Keep 'em coming.

Great work, the best repair I have ever seen. You brought her back to life, Kudo's

Love the repair and the props to Roy, you’re a man of character.

Man, I'm impressed by the audacity of the previous repair. That was definitely a DIY job by a skint gigging player. I've watched an unhealthy amount of headstock repairs and this is up there with the best of them!

I've watched tons of headstock repair videos over the years. Everything about this one -- the narration, the craftsmanship, the ability to solve problems -- is on a higher level. Your talent is awe-inspiring.

Speaking as someone who has done a Les Paul headstock repair, your attention to detail and repair work is excellent.

Extraordinary work.  Fascinating to watch.  Thank you for sharing

Extraordinary workmanship.

Not being a guitar player myself but do enjoy watching the craftsmanship involved in putting these things back together.

So painful that such a horrible repair work was done on an LP Custom. Good job on making it like new. You sir, are a magician!

That was a very enjoyable 55 minutes with some nice Gary Moore and Dire Straits at the end.

Your level of attention to detail and skills is very impressive!
